Masters in Nursing Science in Villanova University

Villanova University is a private university located in Radnor Township, a suburb northwest of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States. Named in honor of Saint Thomas of Villanova, the school is the oldest and largest Catholic university in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Founded in 1842 by the Order of Saint Augustine traces its roots at the University of St. Augustine early Church, Philadelphia, that the Augustinian monks founded in 1796 and its parish school, St. Augustine Academy, which was established in 1811. In October 1841, two Augustinian monks of St. Augustine Church in Philadelphia purchased the acres (0.81 km) "Belle Air" field 200 in Radnor Township, with the intention to open a school. The school, which has been called the "Augustinian College of Villanova," opened in 1842.However, Philadelphia nativist riots of 1844 that burned the church of St. Augustine in Philadelphia caused financial difficulties for the Augustinians, and the college was closed in February 1845.
