Nursing Programs in Holy Family of the University

Holy Family of the University is fully accredited Catholic, private, mixed, four-year university located in the Torresdale section of Philadelphia. It provides liberal arts and vocational training programs for more than 2,100 undergraduate students per day, evening and summer sessions. Founded by the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth in 1954, establishing the University was the culmination of an evolutionary cycle begun in 1934 with the opening of the Holy Family School of Teacher Education. During the early years, the Holy Family has functioned as an affiliate of the Catholic University of America. The University received full accreditation by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools seven years after its founding statute, which was renewed in 1971, 1981, 1991 and 2001. In addition to the main campus Torresdale, there are satellites offices in Newtown, two locations in Bensalem on Bristol Pike, and in South Philadelphia
